Subzy’s debut EP, Thought You Should Know, is something like a musical diary, reflecting upon both the chaos of the world around us, as well as his own personal journey of discovery through young adult life in London. This first project, demonstrates the drawing together of his diverse musical influences, ranging from UK pioneers like Dizzee Rascal, Roots Manuva and Giggs to American heavyweights like Big L and Nas. The project provides refreshing perspectives, colourful flows and melodies, and subtle yet powerful social commentaries.
